About the Job
The Seasonal Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager at Hatley Pointe oversees all food and beverage outlets, including Smoke & Timber, bars, and any seasonal grab-and-go or event-based service areas. This role ensures smooth daily operations, exceptional guest service, and consistent delivery of Smoke & Timber’s hospitality standards. The F&B Manager also leads and supports the seasonal team, ensuring quality, efficiency, and profitability across all outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate operations across all Smoke & Timber food and beverage outlets.
- Lead, train, and motivate seasonal front-of-house teams to deliver consistent hospitality and service excellence.
- Manage scheduling across outlets, aligning labor with business levels while controlling costs.
- Work closely with the culinary team to align menus, specials, and food offerings across locations.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, service consistency, and guest satisfaction through regular presence on the floor.
- Handle inventory, ordering, and receiving for all F&B outlets, ensuring proper stock levels and cost control.
- Enforce safety, sanitation, and compliance standards across all areas.
- Assist with planning and execution of special events, banquets, and seasonal promotions.
- Respond to guest concerns promptly and professionally, maintaining Smoke & Timber’s reputation for quality service.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and alcohol service laws.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of F&B management experience in a resort, multi-outlet, or high-volume environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple outlets simultaneously.
- Excellent guest service focus, communication, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in labor management, inventory control, and cost management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- ServSafe and/or alcohol service certification preferred.
Seasonal Details
- Employment Term: Winter Season: November–March
- Schedule: Full-time; must be available weekends and holidays.
